Since our last race, in which we finished 2nd out of 54 entries, Ronnie Swyers and Ben Ochs have been working hard to make the Fast Guys Rich Guys and Idiots Mustang even better. We've installed bigger brakes, rebuilt the transmission, and fixed the nose from where I nudged a Nissan out of the way. On Memorial Day, we shook the car down. "I bet we're the only ChumpCar team with our own test track," Ronnie said. That would be his uncle Wild Bill Hanel's landing strip, just south of Hood River, Oregon, with a spectacular view of the Cascades in the background. Thanks for the afternoon, Wild Bill!

| We switched to 17-inch wheels in order to fit big brake rotors, and shod our pony with BF Goodrich g-Force T/A radials. |
Aren't the tires beautiful? Can't wait to feel them bite. The Ford 302 exhaust note isn't bad either! |
